Ingo bringt Konferenzluft von KubeCon und CS3 mit, während BuyFromEU daran erinnert, dass „Cloud“ manchmal nur ein anderes Wort für „jemand anderes’ Abhängigkeit“ ist. Dazu gibt es Nachwuchsarbeit bei den Chemnitzer Linux-Tagen — denn wer früh lötet, muss später weniger proprietäre Fehlermeldungen googeln. Sie erinnern sich an ihr erstes Treffen auf der Veranstaltung, die eine Plattform für Technologieenthusiasten bietet. Thorsten berichtet über sein Projekt „Thorsten Voice“, bei dem er seine Stimme für Open Source-Software zur Verfügung stellt, und die Herausforderungen, die mit der Digitalisierung seiner Stimme für Text-to-Speech-Technologien einhergehen. Er erklärt die Integration seiner Stimme in Projekte und betont die Bedeutung von Datenschutz. Zudem wird ein Interview mit Jochen Stärk zu E-Rechnungen eingespielt, in dem die neuen gesetzlichen Anforderungen für Unternehmen ab 2027 erläutert werden, sowie Tipps zur Nutzung von Open Source-Tools gegeben werden.
